Your choice
You haven't chosen yet, so analytics is off.
- 1
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others, like analytics, need your permission first, and we don't set them until you give it.
- 2
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working, so the law doesn't require your consent. We list them so you know exactly what's there.
- Sign-in session: keeps you signed in after you enter your password. Set by us. Lasts until you sign out or the session expires, and is renewed while you use Overheard.
- Session check: a short-lived copy of your session that saves a round trip on every page. Set by us. Lasts 5 minutes.
- Your privacy choice: remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, with a random ID and the date, so we don't ask again and can prove what you chose. Set by us. Lasts 6 months.

Analytics, only if you accept
If you accept, the random ID in your privacy-choice cookie is used to count visits on our own servers: the page you open, the site that sent you and the campaign tags in the link. Nothing extra is stored in your browser.
We don't record your IP address or browser details, don't build an advertising profile and don't share any of it. If you create an account, your earlier visits are linked to it so we know which pages bring customers. Visits are kept for 13 months.

Your choice
Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works exactly the same either way. You can change your mind at any time here or with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we take it as a no and don't ask. We ask again every six months, or sooner if we add anything new.
- 5
What we don't use
No advertising or social media cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics.
- 6
Payment pages
When you subscribe, checkout happens on our payment partner's own site, which uses its own cookies under its own policy.
- 7
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you won't be able to sign in.
